The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) across multiple locations including India, Dubai, Sharjah, and Riyadh. Candidates will sit for the medical entrance exam in a single shift from 2 PM to 5 PM in India.
To ensure a smooth process, candidates must arrive at their respective exam centres by 1:30 PM. For those in Dubai and Sharjah, the exam will take place from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM (UAE time), while in Riyadh it’s set for 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM (Saudi Arabian time). Latecomers won’t be allowed entry—after noon in Dubai and Sharjah or after 11 AM in Riyadh.
Key requirements for candidates:
- Candidates must carry their NEET UG 2026 admit card and a valid photo ID.
- Passport-size photographs are also required for verification purposes.
- A strict dress code is enforced; candidates should avoid wearing prohibited items such as gadgets.
The exam comprises 180 questions, totaling 720 marks. Biometric verification will be conducted at each centre to confirm the identity of the candidates. This year, around 23 lakh candidates have registered to participate in this crucial examination.
NTA officials have reiterated their commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process. They’ve dismissed rumors regarding paper leaks, emphasizing that robust security measures are in place to safeguard against any malpractices.
