The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially announced the final selection results for the 2023 recruitment cycle, revealing that a total of 912 candidates have been selected for the positions of Police Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts.

The cutoff marks for the Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential) position were set at 316.26 for unreserved candidates, while the cutoff for Other Backward Classes (OBC) was 299.57, and for Scheduled Castes (SC), it was 225.04. For the Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk position, the unreserved cutoff was 334.61, and for Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts, it was 318.61.
This selection process included horizontal reservations for female candidates, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters, ensuring that diverse groups had the opportunity to participate.
The final selection lists were made available on March 26, 2026, and candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth on the official UPPRPB website.
In total, 242 candidates were selected from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Unreserved categories, 464 from Other Backward Classes, 197 from Scheduled Castes, and 9 from Scheduled Tribes.
