<p>Thakkali Srinivasan, a notable figure in Tamil cinema, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 72 after a prolonged illness. He began his career as a producer with the film <strong>Ivargal Varungala Thoongal</strong> in 1987, marking the start of a prolific journey in the film industry.</p>
<p>Throughout his career, Srinivasan produced several landmark films, including <strong>Manasukul Mathappu</strong> (1988), <strong>Nalaya Manithan</strong> (1989), and <strong>Witness</strong> (1995). He also directed and composed music for <strong>Jenma Natchathiram</strong>, a remake of the classic horror film <em>The Omen</em>, which was released in 1991.</p>
<p>In addition to his work behind the camera, Srinivasan played the antagonist in the Kamal Hassan-starrer <strong>Soora Samharam</strong>, showcasing his versatility as an actor. His contributions to the film industry have left a lasting impact on Tamil cinema.</p>
