The National Testing Agency has set up a total of 611 examination centres across 27 districts, with around 2.09 lakh candidates expected to participate. The decision to postpone university exams was made to minimize inconvenience for students and ensure that everything runs smoothly on exam day. “The decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam,” said the Examination Controller of Kolhan University.

Candidates are reminded to arrive at their respective exam centres at least 1–2 hours before the reporting time. This is crucial as it allows them time to settle in and follow any last-minute guidelines. The NEET UG Admit Card for 2026 has already been released, providing candidates with essential information about their assigned centres.

The NEET exam is highly competitive, consisting of 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, totaling 720 marks. Candidates scoring above 650 are likely to secure top ranks in this challenging examination. To avoid any issues on exam day, candidates are advised against carrying prohibited items such as mobile phones and electronic gadgets.

Ahead of the exam day, special arrangements have been made by railways to operate special trains, ensuring that candidates can travel conveniently to their designated locations. Jaipur has emerged as one of the largest hubs for examination centres, indicating the scale of this event.

The anticipation surrounding NEET UG is palpable; it serves as a single entrance test for undergraduate medical admissions across India. As students prepare for this crucial day, they remain focused on their goals — entering medical courses that could shape their futures.

With all these preparations in place and logistical support being ramped up, candidates can only hope that everything unfolds without a hitch on May 3rd.
