RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced

The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE admission lottery result for 2026, affecting over 6.3 lakh applicants. This lottery system is crucial for selecting students for free seats in private schools under the Right to Education Act, ensuring access to education for many families across the state.

Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. Parents can check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website, rajpsp.nic.in. The documentation needed for verification includes an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable.

The application process for free admission in private schools under RTE in Rajasthan commenced on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026. A total of 19.92 lakh applications were received for admissions in 33,137 private schools across the state, highlighting the significant demand for educational opportunities in Rajasthan.

Parents were allowed to select up to five schools during the application process, and they can change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. This flexibility aims to accommodate the preferences of families as they navigate the educational landscape.

Classes for all admitted students are set to commence on April 1, 2026. If seats remain vacant after the first round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will be conducted on April 7, 2026. Schools will continue to verify documents of applicants until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed before the start of the academic year.

Parents also have the opportunity to register grievances regarding admissions on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026. This provision is essential for addressing any concerns that may arise during the admission process, providing a channel for parents to voice their issues.

The lottery system has been a critical component of the Right to Education Act, which aims to provide equitable access to education for all children in India. As the education landscape continues to evolve, observers expect that the outcomes of this lottery will have lasting implications for families and students across Rajasthan. Details remain unconfirmed regarding the overall satisfaction of parents with the lottery results and the subsequent admissions process.
