New Adventures Await the Straw Hat Crew
“Even though [they] have one goal at the beginning of the season, to find One Piece [and] achieve [their] dreams, as [they] start to learn the bigger dangers that are out there, our characters end the season with a new goal — get to Alabasta and fight for it,” said Joe Tracz, the showrunner of One Piece Season 2.

The season also reveals Sir Crocodile as Mr. 0, the leader of Baroque Works, and introduces Miss All Sunday, who is later revealed to be Nico Robin, Crocodile’s second-in-command.
Operation Utopia, a plan involving Baroque Works, threatens the peace of Alabasta, setting the stage for intense conflict. The stakes are raised as the characters face greater dangers, and Tracz emphasizes the evolving nature of their goals.
Charithra Chandran, who portrays Vivi, highlights the emotional struggles of her character, stating, “When you are undercover like Vivi is as Miss Wednesday, it’s an incredibly lonely life. She really struggles to trust people and let them in.” This complexity adds to the narrative’s richness.
