Nta: NEET UG 2026: Releases Exam City Intimation Slips

For the last two years, over 20 lakh students have been registering for the NEET UG exam, a crucial stepping stone for aspiring medical students in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now released the exam city intimation slips for NEET UG 2026, scheduled to take place on May 3, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM. This release marks an important moment for candidates as they prepare for this highly competitive examination.

Candidates can check and download their examination city intimation slip from the official NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in, using their application number and date of birth. It is essential to note that this city intimation slip is not the admit card for NEET UG 2026; rather, it serves as an advance notice regarding the city where the examination center will be located.

“This is not the admit card for NEET UG 2026. It is only an advance intimation regarding the city where your examination centre will be located,” an NTA spokesperson clarified. This information is vital for students as it helps them plan their travel and accommodation in advance, reducing last-minute stress.

In the previous years, the number of candidates registering for NEET UG has seen a steady increase, with 20,87,462 candidates in 2023 and 24,06,079 in 2024. The exam is the sole pathway for students in India to secure admission into undergraduate medical courses, making it a significant event in the academic calendar.

The official admit card for NEET UG 2026 will be released three to four days before the exam, providing candidates with their specific examination details. The NEET paper will consist of 180 compulsory questions, including 45 each in physics and chemistry, and 90 in biology.
