Changes in CUET UG 2026 Exam Dates
Previously, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had indicated tentative timelines for the CUET UG examination in its annual calendar. However, the recent announcement has clarified the specific dates for the upcoming exam.
The CUET UG 2026 is now confirmed to take place from May 11 to 31, 2026. This marks a decisive moment for students preparing for the examination, as they now have a clear timeline to work with.
In addition to the exam dates, the NTA has also outlined that the examination will be conducted exclusively in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. This shift to a digital platform is expected to streamline the examination process and enhance the overall experience for candidates.
The application process for CUET UG 2026 has seen multiple reopenings, reflecting the agency’s efforts to accommodate a larger pool of candidates. The final round of applications will be accepted from February 23 to 26, 2026, allowing students a last opportunity to register.
Following the announcement of the exam dates, the NTA will release the Exam City Intimation Slip, which is crucial for candidates to know their examination locations. This slip will be made available after the datesheet is published.
Furthermore, candidates can expect the admit card to be released approximately three to four days prior to the examination. This timing is critical for students as it provides them with essential information regarding their exam schedules.
For those interested in keeping track of the schedule, the official website cuet.nta.nic.in will provide the datesheet, which will include subject-wise exam dates and shift timings.
The clarity provided by the NTA regarding the CUET exam date and related processes is expected to alleviate some of the uncertainties faced by candidates. However, details remain unconfirmed regarding any potential changes to the examination format or additional guidelines.
As the exam date approaches, students are encouraged to stay informed and prepared, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements for a successful examination experience.
