Dhurandhar: The Revenge Set for Release
The highly anticipated dhurandhar movie, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026. The film has already generated considerable excitement, with advance bookings surpassing Rs 18 crore.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel continues the story of the original film, which was released on December 5, 2025. The first installment, Dhurandhar, was a commercial success, grossing over ₹1300 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
In this sequel, Ranveer Singh reprises his role as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as Hamza. The film’s narrative follows an undercover Indian spy infiltrating a Baloch gang led by Rahman Dakait.
The sequel will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming to reach a broader audience. The advance bookings have already shown promising numbers, with approximately 12.29 crore Rs gross across all languages for Dhurandhar 2.
The Hindi version alone contributed around 12.07 crore Rs to this total. In North America, the film has also made a mark, with a total advance gross of about USD 890,000 and first weekend advance bookings reaching USD 1.70 million.
As of now, the premiere advance sales in the US have reached USD 618,911, with 38,545 tickets sold. The film’s release is expected to further boost its box office performance.
One of the notable quotes from the film includes, “India will determine Pakistan’s future,” spoken by Ranveer Singh’s character, hinting at the film’s intense themes.
