Hyundai Verna Facelift Launches in India

The 2026 Hyundai Verna facelift has been launched in India, marking a significant update in the popular sedan segment. With a price range between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Verna aims to attract buyers looking for modern features and performance.

This updated model is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. The introduction of two new color options, Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte, adds to the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle.

Under the hood, the Verna is powered by a choice of two engines: a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 144 Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine delivering 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This range of options caters to different performance preferences among consumers.

Safety features have been significantly enhanced in the new Verna, which includes a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite and seven airbags, ensuring a higher standard of protection for occupants.

The interior of the vehicle boasts dual 10.25-inch screens and a new D-cut steering wheel, providing a modern and tech-savvy driving experience. Additionally, the new Verna features a powered tailgate and a built-in dashcam, further elevating its appeal.

Deliveries for the new Verna are expected to start by the end of the month, allowing eager customers to experience the updated model soon. The updated Verna competes directly with other popular sedans in the market, including the Honda City, VW Virtus, and Skoda Slavia.

Hyundai Motor India has positioned the Verna facelift as a strong contender in the competitive sedan segment, focusing on both performance and safety enhancements. As the automotive market continues to evolve, the response to this facelift will be closely monitored.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding the long-term impact of these updates on sales and market share against its competitors.
