RRB NTPC City Intimation for 2026 Exam
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced that the RRB NTPC Graduate Level CBT 1 exam will be conducted from March 16 to 27, 2026. Candidates preparing for this significant examination can expect to download their city intimation slips from the respective RRB regional websites.
The city intimation slip, which will be available shortly before the exam, provides essential information such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, and the scheduled exam date. However, it is important to note that the slip does not include the exact address of the exam centre; this information will be provided in the admit card, which will be available for download four days before the exam, on March 12, 2026.
The CBT 1 exam consists of three sections: general awareness, mathematics, and general intelligence and reasoning, totaling 100 questions. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam, while those with disabilities (PwBD) will be allotted 120 minutes.
In terms of scoring, the exam follows a negative marking scheme where one-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. This aspect emphasizes the importance of careful consideration when answering questions.
To access the city intimation slip, candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth. This process is designed to ensure that only registered candidates can obtain their exam-related information securely.
The recruitment process for RRB NTPC includes multiple stages, starting with CBT 1, followed by CBT 2 and skill tests for certain posts. This multi-tiered approach is aimed at ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates for various graduate-level positions within Indian Railways.
As the exam date approaches, candidates are reminded to carry a printed copy of their admit card along with valid photo identification to the examination centre. The RRB NTPC recruitment drive aims to fill several graduate-level posts in Indian Railways, making it a highly competitive event for aspiring candidates.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes to the exam format or additional guidelines that may be introduced closer to the exam date. Candidates are encouraged to stay updated through official RRB announcements.
