UPSC Result 2025: Anuj Agnihotri Tops the Examination
The anticipation surrounding the UPSC result for 2025 culminated on March 6, 2026, when the Union Public Service Commission officially released the results on its website. Prior to this announcement, expectations were high among candidates who had invested significant time and effort in their preparation for this competitive examination.
In a decisive moment for many aspiring civil servants, Anuj Agnihotri emerged as the top candidate, securing the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. This achievement highlights not only his dedication but also the rigorous nature of the examination.
The UPSC Final Result 2025 recommended a total of 958 candidates for appointment across various services, a significant number considering the total vacancies reported for the examination was 1,087. Among the vacancies, the allocation for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) stands at 180, while Indian Foreign Service (IFS) has 55, and Indian Police Service (IPS) has 150 positions available. Additionally, there are 507 vacancies for Central Services (Group A) and 195 for Group B Services, reflecting the diverse opportunities available to successful candidates.
The UPSC CSE Result 2025 also includes a Reserve List of 258 candidates, which provides a further opportunity for those who may not have made the initial cut. However, it is noteworthy that the candidature of 348 recommended candidates is currently kept provisional, indicating that further verification may be required before final appointments are confirmed.
